2007 Tokyo Concours d'Elegance ®
105,000 visitors came to Tokyo Midtown on October 26, the official judging day of the event, and 86,000 visitors came on October 27, the public day. (As stated by Tokyo Midtown management office).
Despite the bad weather on both days, many people visited Tokyo Midtown, the event site, showing that there is a high interest in classic cars in Japan.
The "Best of Show" Concours car, the highest award of the event, chosen by a distinguished group of judges on October 26 was a " 1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental D.H.C. by Carlton ". On October 27 the general public had a chance to vote, and chose a " 1937 Jaguar SS100 ", as " Best of Show by Public ".
