The Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 is the only 2+2 car made on the successful 250 GT chassis and debuted at the Paris Salon in 1960. It is the first 4-seater model "mass produced" Ferrari. The car here was tested and personally used by Enzo Ferrari himself. He replaced the engine with the much larger 4 litre (330) version and the car was subsequently used for the development of the 400 SA Super America. As such, this car has the unique feature of carrying two chassis numbers, one as the 250 model and the other as the 400 SA. This car has been restored by Ferrari's own Ferrari Classiche department which brought it back to its superb original condition.
