Designed and driven by the Italian-Englishman Augustos Bertelli who was the company's president at the time. With this car Aston Martin made a sensation in the racing scene. The body of the car was designed by Augustos' brother Enrico, who had the good taste of both the English and Italians. The car was known for having one of the best styling of small sports cars in its era. This particular car was acquired by Cordon Sutherland who became president of Aston Martin.
