Amilcar were very affordably priced cars for the masses. However their nimble and swift performance gave them a reputation as the sports car not to be underestimated. This CGSS model is the high performance version which won the Monte Carlo Rally in l927 and showed sensational performance at Le Mans in the same year. The car features a lowered chassis and race prepped 4 cylinder 1,074cc engine, and is the final form of its series. It was a top notch sports car in its time and was known for its elegant pre-war French car styling, which still mesmerizes enthusiasts today.
