The Bugatti T35A is probably one of the very best racing cars of all time. Its victories include Grands Prix, the equivalent of today's F1. the Targa Florio, and every major European race of its period. From 1924 to 1926 alone, the little car took an incredible 1,045 race victories, including 24 major event wins. The Bugatti T35A also introduced the concept of beauty to the newly created invention known as automobiles. Its signature design is in the three dimensional nose that continues from a horseshoe-shaped grill along a beautiful line to pointed tail: beauty that is beyond description. These wonderful shapes can also be seen in its rectangular solid engine, cast alloy wheels, suspension arms and wiring. This particular T35A is equipped with an 8-valve 2.0L straight-8 SOHC engine with plain bearings for T38. A widely held view is that the Type 35 Bugatti is perhaps "the most characteristic representation of the true racing car ever conceived."
